Hack reality in two (not-so-easy) steps
When I talk with people about reality hacking, these are the first two things I tell them:
1. there are three things that I know I feel when I am the true me: unconcerned, unhurried, and in love. If I'm having an experience in which I don't feel unconcerned, unhurried, and in love, then I know that there's some leftover conditioning at play. there's nothing wrong with that, it's just great to know that it's not me (de-identification)
2. My life is an endless playground of exploring what connects me to the truth of who I am when the gremlins of inherited conditioning try to rob me of these three true-to-me feelings.
When you have a moment that feels like the absolute clearest and best experience of who you are and what the world can be, that's when you can notice what qualities you feel. That is then the true template against which each temporary reality you experience can be compared. You can literally start seeing what is truly you and what is just a temporary warping. And since it's a paradox that A. all of this is created by you and B. you inherited all of it and didn't ask for it, you can put aside the conundrum of what to DO about it. Instead, just lift it up to the light and feel the contrast between the present moment reality and what you've identified are the core feelings you experience when you are IN and experiencing your true self.
Just this witnessing practice will change your entire reality.
