When to NOT seize the moment

it's such a balance, isn't it? there's this craving for seizing the moment, really playing for all the marbles and knowing this is your one and precious life, but also following the body's lead to slow down, to rest, to follow those subtle indications that say "today is not the day to take action." in 2014, my business plan changed from words on paper to images on a large board. I had things that I wanted to have come to fruition and accomplish, very specific things, but the images helped me connect with how I most wanted to FEEL, both once I got there and also in the process. they also helped me put my heart and body in the driver's seat and to let the Universe be my map reader in a terrain that's constantly changing. it's still challenging for me when urgency comes around and tries to terrorize me, but luckily my visual business plan led me to some dope ass, brilliant creatives, entrepreneurs, and visionaries that remind me that seizing the moment really only serves me when it feels fantastic and frictionless, not required and pushy.
